Articles

The new blogzine format includes posts that have three elements:  1) a practical real-life article to inspire you to repurpose your own struggles or challenges into growth opportunities, 2) a fun repurposed or before-and-after idea, and 3) a reading recommendation for you to consider. Check out the podcast or vlog for this content on the go! Michelle loves books, all things trash-to-treasure, and helping women discover hope - something she hopes you enjoy in every issue!

I like to sneak in a few minutes of work at a coffee shop whenever I can. I love the change of pace.

Someone posted this on Twitter this week: “Tell me a story about yourself the [sic] sounds like a lie but is absolutely true.”

Recording artist Nichole Nordeman replied, “Prince covered one of my songs.”

So I had to investigate. And yes, he did. She talks about it in the video and then sings the song. (If you want to hear Prince’s cover, see the link in the comments below.)

I hadn’t listened to the song in a while. It gave me pause this morning when I stopped to listen. What a powerful song! This is my mission. It is to those who are asking, “What if?”

What if there is more than the pain you’ve experienced in this life? What if there are good people in both of the mainstream political parties? What if not all Christians would push you away if you asked hard questions? What if someone cared even if you are imperfect? What if there is more to life and God is real?
