We were introduced to Rick Marks's RelateWell marriage content earlier this year. The power and impact of an “Us” vs “I” paradigm is central to this program. In addition to working with couples, Dr. Rick trains therapists and counselors using the RelateWell process to aid them and empower couples with the emotional and relational skills needed for a loving and thriving marriage. We're honored to receive his endorsement for our book!

Would you be willing to test out the form on my website to see if you receive the discussion questions for my book Classic Marriage? It seems there is a technical glitch that I can't figure out. Not all subscribers receive the file.

Step 1: Sign up on the form on the page linked below. See the area marked "Free Downloadable Tune-Up Time Discussion Questions."

Step 2: Watch your inbox for a confirmation email from Life, Repurposed with Michelle Rayburn

Step 3: You should receive an email within a few minutes of confirming that will contain your download link.

Step 4: Comment on this post to let me know you received it.

Thank you for helping me troubleshoot and for signing up for my list (you can always unsubscribe).

This week on my podcast, author Stephenie Hovland talks about how she changed her mindset about Christmas from “If you can’t do it all, do more” to a more balanced approach. We also discussed how we can prepare now for the necessary celebration changes in a pandemic.

Stephenie is giving away a copy of her Advent devotional booklet “Hark the Herald Angels Sing: Daily Prayers for Advent,” which is inspired by “It’s a Wonderful Life.” To enter, comment below with the title of your favorite Christmas movie. Share the post to your page to get a second entry.

I’ll draw one name randomly at 8 pm CT on Monday, Nov. 23 so you can get your booklet in time for Advent.

I hung part of my great-grandfather's crib on the wall to use to display photos of our family. But I'm trying to decide on what to do with the top part.

Option A: Create a pendant garland from paper.
Option B: Create a wood slice garland with chalkboard paint on each slice.

Bonus question: What should I put on the garland for a phrase? (One letter on each pendant or wood slice, so it has to be short)

My family has a strong Dutch heritage, so my dad rewired the lamp that once stood on the dresser in my childhood bedroom, and I gave it a new shade from Target. Sometimes an update doesn't have to be dramatic. ... See MoreSee Less
